This large abstract painting was done back at the studio after a day of Plein Air painting in York on Raynes Neck. It was the second time I had painted on that location during the summer and some of what resonated was the inspiration for this more abstracted view. Painted in acrylic on a 36” X 36” deep-profile wood panel structure (1.75” deep), the piece is presented frameless with the sides painted a stone grey. The work is wired and ready to hang.
