The Wave Paintings first emerged in the form of a commission from Surf Restaurants (of Nashua and Portsmouth, New Hampshire). This large series of paintings was used to create atmosphere and excitement as a permanent installation in those restaurants. Those initial paintings launched more ideas—a series of organic, mixed-media canvases integrating nautical charts and scientific notation.
If you are considering a painting for a specific setting or very large area that has special requirements, it can be executed by commission. All commissions are well managed by an established process and the works are created to be completed by an established delivery date.
